Project Spa & Sport Resort Sveti Martin - development phase 3

  • DescriptionAt the moment the resort is developed to a phase where it is one of the leading Croatian inland SPAs and it caters for individual, corporate and sports customers. With competitor resorts investing in new facilities there is a need to move forward. With the completion of this project, Spa & Sport Resort Sveti Martin will be several steps ahead of the current resort. With all of its facilities (listed below) it will be the leading resort of this kind in the region.
    The goal is for the resort to attract customers not only from the region and Europe but also, because of the facilities and quality of service to attract customers from distant countries such as the Middle East and Russia.

    Up to now 83 M€ (620 Mkn) has been invested in the resort in the facilities as follows:

    • 81-key apartment complex Regina 4* (81 apartments with 214 beds + 55 extra beds), Restaurant "Vučkovec" for 300 people with three multi-purpose halls,
    • Indoor swimming pool complex with 1.050 m² of swimming pool, a spinal therapy and physiotherapy centre, restaurant, fast food and sundeck,
    • Front office for apartment complex ( Pub "Potkova/Horseshoe", a shop, a beauty salon and office space),
    • Multifunctional building with restaurants, small shops, summer changing rooms with lockers, and 2850 m² of summer swimming pools with whirlpools and 5 types of water slides, landscaped swimming area of 10.000 m² with 2000 deckchairs and 4 summer cafe restaurants with approximately 900 seats,
    • 157– key Spa Golfer 4* hotel (151 rooms + 6 suites with 314 beds + 25 extra beds) with a multifunctional conference hall for 500 people, a 1800 m² wellness centre, restaurants and kindergartens,
    • Sports hall, fully equipped gym, exercise rooms, a surgery, and locker rooms and a sauna,
    • Recreation area (a golf course with 9 holes and driving ranges, football pitch, 4 tennis courts with floodlights, a basketball court, 2 bocce courts and a beach volleyball court),
    • Golf club with shops, restaurants and a golf simulator.


    By completing this final phase of the project (estimated value of 32M€) the Resort will be complimented with the following facilities:

    • 147-key lifestyle 4* hotel,
    • Self- contained wellness club (2.200 sqm),
    • Reconstruction and expansion of the water park with an adventure park,
    • Auto camp for transient and long-stay visitors and cyclists
    • Football field with a heated ground
    • Construction of infrastructure facilities for energy independence and sustainability (Thermal well and use of solar energy)

    The completion of this project will also have a high impact on the local community as it would mean the job openings of 70 full time employees as well as 20 part time seasonal employees.
